02 Do I need insurance?
No insurance is needed or billed. You pay one clear price and see the full cost before you book — no claims and no surprise bills.
03 Should I use NextDayDoctor for emergencies?
No. If you are experiencing a medical emergency — such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, or any life-threatening condition — call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. NextDayDoctor is for non-emergency healthcare needs.
04 Can providers prescribe controlled substances?
No. NextDayDoctor does not permit prescribing of Schedule II through Schedule V controlled substances under any circumstances. This is a firm platform policy with no exceptions — regardless of the provider's DEA registration or the patient's state. If you need a controlled substance prescription, you will need to see a provider in person.
05 Can I use NextDayDoctor from any state?
Visits are available when you are physically located in a state where the provider is licensed. What matters is where you are at the time of your visit — not your home address — and you'll confirm your location before each visit.
06 Can I manage care for family members?
Yes. Family care is built into the account — you can manage visits, records, and messages for family members from one place.
