Stay up to date with the latest improvements to the NextDayDoctor platform. Updates are listed newest first.
Providers can now scan physical documents directly from their device camera and upload them to a patient's chart as a single PDF. Capture multiple pages in sequence, preview your shots, and submit — all from the media upload panel.
Large file uploads now use a chunked upload system with a real-time progress bar. Files upload in 2 MB segments and show two-phase progress (uploading → processing), so you always know where things stand. Supports files up to 200 MB.
Multiple improvements to the AI medical scribe:
*** placeholders) are now reliably detected and filledAccessing the chart for a completed visit older than 90 days now requires a brief justification (e.g., patient follow-up, records request). Providers select a reason before the chart opens. This access is logged for compliance purposes.
Deleting a signed chart or signed note requires selecting a reason before the deletion is confirmed. This ensures an auditable record exists for any modification to finalized clinical documentation.
Fixed several issues where PDFs (work excuse notes, lab results, imaging reports, referrals) would fail to open or display blank. All document types now load reliably from the patient chart panel.
The appointment search bar now shows a clear (×) button when you start typing, making it faster to reset the search and return to the full list.
Fixed an issue where real-time appointment alerts and call status notifications had stopped working for some users. Live WebSocket connectivity is now fully operational.
The in-app support contact panel has been redesigned with a cleaner layout — purple header, scrollable message area, and a full-width submit button at the bottom.
NextDayDoctor now integrates with Cynomi for enhanced clinical assessment support.
The Clinical Impression panel now shows compact ICD code suggestions inline — tap a suggestion to add it directly to the impression without leaving the charting workflow.
Appointment cancellation handling has been refined to clearly separate cancelled visits from active ones — cancelled appointments now open an informational panel only, with no chart access.
Fixed a behind-the-scenes performance issue where multiple session file locks were being acquired on every page request, causing intermittent slowdowns across the platform. All pages and AJAX requests now load significantly faster.
After signing a visit chart, the note tab now immediately renders the completed signed note and the appointment moves to the correct status bucket in the visit list — no refresh required.
